_CIt is rarely “easy”
While designing can be enjoyable but most of the times designing is often a highly complex, time-consuming process, not a simple “5-minute job”.
“Designing must be an easy job”
Here is why I think this sentence is a big misconception.
It’s a Process, Not Just Art: Designing is a deliberate, thoughtful process involving research, strategy, and problem-solving, not just drawing or picking colors.
Mental & Emotional Toll: Professional design involves handling difficult client feedback, managing tight deadlines, and constant revisions, which is draining.
Technical Skill Requirements: We must know or master specialized software, understand printing methods, layout, and user experience, which requires continuous learning.
Subjectivity & Pressure: Good design is often invisible, while bad design is noticed. This subjectivity creates immense pressure to create perfect work every time.
While it may not be physically exhausting, it is highly challenging mentally.
So next time when you see a designer working try not hurt them by saying these types of sentences.
