BR48 weeks… not 38 until the games. I miscounted🫣. So we’ve got an extra 10 weeks on the countdown. I’m fine. Everything is fine. 🙃
In all seriousness, I found a lot of weaknesses this season on snow—things like needing quicker legs throughout the course, pressing more into my prosthetic side, and strengthening my mental game through team changes and challenges. I’ve got my work cut out for me.
48 weeks to dial all of this in. It sounds like a lot, but I’m trying to stay realistic about how easily outside forces can chip away at my focus. Between being a mom, a content creator, and a disability advocate, and professional speaker… things get busy fast.
I’m hoping this series keeps me accountable and gives you a real look at what goes into being an elite athlete and Paralympian.
The solution? More focused nutrition to fuel more intentional gym training. I’ll also need to make some prosthetic adjustments so I can actually progress toward my goals. There will be plenty of trial and error, and I’m excited to show the whole process.
