Women leading the way for a cleaner environment. 💚 For months now, the women of Shatabdi Vihar Society have been consistently supporting the Delhi Youth Network by collecting milk packets and other plastic waste from their homes for recycling. Their commitment shows how everyday actions taken within households can contribute towards protecting our environment. This Women’s Day, we celebrated their dedication and efforts. We began with a brief discussion on the importance of climate responsibility and environmental protection, followed by joyful moments of community bonding through games like Musical Chairs and Burst the Balloon. We also recognized the woman who brought the highest amount of plastic waste, appreciating her remarkable contribution. To acknowledge the collective efforts of all participants, every woman received a small token of appreciation for being an active part of this environmental initiative despite their many daily responsibilities. Together, we collected around 25 kg of milk packets for recycling, reminding us that when communities come together—especially women—change truly begins at home. A heartfelt salute to the women catalysts of Shatabdi Vihar Society, who continue to inspire us through their actions for a greener future. #WomensDay #WomenForClimate #WomenChangemakers #PlasticRecycling #CommunityAction
