That’s when @diagnoseitnick reached for the Power Probe ECT3000 Open/Short Finder. After isolating the suspect signal wire, he used the ECT3000 to send a low-current signal through the circuit and traced it along the harness. The receiver clearly indicated where the signal dropped off — revealing the exact point of damage inside the wiring.
