19I have had enough.
This is such a cool saying that I feel like doesn’t get its day. How often do we explain that we have had our fill, whether of good or bad, so plainly?
Having enough is a beautiful thing to admit to, it can also be an exhausting one…
There are days when I feel all of my emotional energy is completely spent and somehow I think it’s a failing on my part when I can’t keep going. It’s a pretty strong thing to admit when you e met your limit, you don’t have to push yourself to the point of self destruction to keep up with some arbitrary goalpost.
It’s okay to admit you’ve had enough, you don’t need to continue asking for more, or asking more of yourself.
