This only works if you’re using a specific, wild, high-polyphenol extra virgin olive oil.
Most supermarket “EVOO” is:
– low in polyphenols
– oxidised
– heat-processed
– basically… no polyphenols, not doing anything
You want an olive oil that is:
✔️ early harvest
✔️ cold-extracted
✔️ high polyphenol count (lab tested)
✔️ very peppery/bitter (that burn = polyphenols)

How I did it:
– 1 shot (approximately 20-25 mls) of high-polyphenol EVOO
– fresh lemon squeezed
