ARLaika Studios is a pioneering animation studio celebrated for redefining stop-motion storytelling with films such as Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings.
Stop motion is an exacting, hands-on process in which physical puppets and sets are adjusted frame by frame to simulate movement. During the production of Coraline (2009), a team of 35 animators each completed only about 2.22 to 6.52 seconds of finished animation per week, underscoring the patience and precision behind every scene.
