HAHere’s how I created my own lush orchid arrangement in under 10 minutes.
I used my new green and blue planters to build this arrangement. First, I added dry floral foam to the base, then placed these vibrant and incredibly realistic orchid stems back-to-back on each side. I finished it off with some moss to give it that neat, natural look. ✨ It only took five minutes — and I love how it turned out!
I’ve always adored the elegance of orchids, but let’s be honest — they’re not the easiest to keep alive. So I created a faux version that gives the same lush, sculptural look without the maintenance.
Next, I’ll be doing the same with my white floral stems, using the larger planter for a different look.

During my recent personal shopping trip, I stumbled upon this Louiee and have been examining its craftsmanship ever since! 🕵🏽♀️🔍

Here are some essential indicators to help identify the real macaw, which I’ve been diligently observing:

🤎 Monogram and Pattern Uniformity
• should form a perfectly symmetrical mirror image that spans the entire surface area.
• the pattern must be straight, without any angles or irregularities.

🤎 Quality of Stitching
• real bags typically feature hand-stitched seams with slightly angled stitches, suggesting they are not mass-produced.
• they also showcase a distinctive mustard-yellow thread, known for its strength and weather resistance.
.
🤎 Hardware Specifications
• high-quality brass for hardware, often plated with a base metal to achieve a luxurious finish.
• the gold-coloured plating enhances the premium look, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to excellence.
• D-rings on handles and zippers.
• vintage models may show some oxidation, so spotting green discolouration around buttons is completely normal.

🤎 Font Characteristics
• the font features a short base on the ‘L’, while the ‘Os’ are large and round (not oval!). The two ‘Ts’ are positioned closely together.

• handles start off a light beige colour. With time, they develop a patina from regular use, sunlight exposure, and the natural oils from hands.
• stitching on the handles and straps is precise and durable, with no loose threads or poor craftsmanship.

• stitching should exhibit hand-stitching with a slight angle, reflecting high quality and uniformity. Consistent and precise stitching should be evident throughout the entire bag.
