For over an hour my family did this exact thing over and over, and you know what, when we were done all the kids asked when we could do it again. One of our favorite ways to serve as a family is to go to @fmsc_org We live a few hours away from the nearest location but when we are in the area we love to take time to help package meals that are sent all over the world. You can sign up online. Kids must be over 5 and supervised by an adult. You can go for birthdays, holidays, as a church group, women's group, homeschool group.... Feed My Starving Children is a Christian organization and prays over all their packages before shipping them out. I recently spoke with a former missionary who said she has been overseas at a receiving station and can verify that this is a great group to support. Be a family that serves together! 💚 Feed My Starving Children 💙 Guadalupe & Kyrene in Tempe 🫶🏼 If you are looking for an extra way to help volunteer, FMSC is an amazing well ran food aid packing facility. They are able to run this non profit by others donating their money and time! Their mission is to provide nutrition meals for hungry children around the world! 🛜 To register, one person “leader” signs up your entire group on their website. There are time slots for everyday except Sundays and you have to register in advance as the sessions often fill up. All volunteers must be 5 yrs older and not sick within the last 24 hours. There are various ways to help during your volunteer time, packing, sealing, weighing bags, moving boxes, building boxes, labeling bags. *️⃣ We had so much fun spending our time here and we’re so happy with our experience! Our kids really enjoyed it and would love to come back soon! It was a rare opportunity—and our kids genuinely loved it! We used to donate to FMSC a few years back, but we had to pause after facing near bankruptcy. But we’re back!
