She needed separation.
Her hips were opening…
but they weren’t driving forward.
So her upper body was doing all the work.
We trained:
• Med ball hip drive into the wall
• Explosive forward hip move
• Creating delay before the whip
Once her hips actually moved forward — not just rotated —
Her arm had something to fire off of.
57 → 59.
Velocity is built from the ground up.
Arm speed is the result — not the source.
If your pitcher looks smooth but not powerful, this is usually the missing piece.
