ADCats feel our emotions more deeply than we think.
Before Adel, I had a very temperamental cat. She hissed all the time, bit people, and would attack for no reason. We called her a little demon, but we loved her with all our hearts.
Once, I was working on my diploma and barely left my computer for about eight hours straight. When I finally stood up, I suddenly lost my vision. I was terrified. Everything started pulsing, changing shapes and proportions. I ran to my parents, completely shocked and disoriented, almost crying.
Then my cat ran toward me. She started meowing, looking straight into my eyes, reaching for my face, and sniffing me. She stayed by my side until I got better. I could see how worried she was, and I knew she wouldn’t harm me in that moment - only heal me.
Cats feel our emotions, and sometimes they can comfort you even better than a human can.
Tell me a story about how your cat was there for you when you needed it most. 💔
