MIThis is how I create cinematic action shots using only an iPhone 📱🎬
The idea is simple:
1️⃣ Lock your camera in one position and don’t move it.
2️⃣ Shoot in 4K 60fps with a high shutter speed (1/300 or higher) to get clean freeze frames in editing.
3️⃣ Record your main action first.
4️⃣ Keep the same angle. Then record extra clips like water, movement, or falling objects.
5️⃣ In editing, freeze your best frame (freeze-frame).
6️⃣ Use masking tools to cut the subject.
7️⃣ Put the moving clips under the frozen frame to create motion.
I use Final Cut Pro because its Magnetic Mask uses AI to rotoscope really well — even water splashes can be separated cleanly.
But you can apply the same technique in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or any editor you’re comfortable with.
It’s all about planning, timing, masking, and editing. Not just the gear.
Shot on iPhone. No AI.
Save this and try it yourself ✌️
