LAI simply won’t stand for it.
Send this to your friend who loves Lynchburg, Virginia as much as you.
For some reason, there’s all sorts of slander about Lynchburg, Virginia (especially from people in other parts of Virginia,) and I’m going to set the record straight.
They say Lynchburg is boring.
→ There are endless things to do in Lynchburg from great local restaurants like Truss, visiting one of our historic sights (my favorite is Poplar Forest), walking around Downtown, enjoying the views of the James River from the Bluffwalk, taking a quick drive out to the Blue Ridge Mountains… I could go on for days.
They say it’s all about Liberty University.
→ This really depends on where you live. If you live in Boonsboro or Forest, for example, you can pretty much avoid Wards Road and LU entirely and still get everything you need in town. You literally never have to go over that way, and it really does not even enter into your daily life at all.
They say our food scene is non-existent.
→ Now this one really annoys me. Have you ever been to Uno Mas, Mrs. Joy’s or Cinn City? Downtown and Bedford Ave. are full of incredible restaurants.
P.S. Did I mention that we truly have no traffic to speak of, or that our cost of living is well below the national average?
Thinking about moving to Lynchburg or buying or selling your home here?
Comment GUIDE, and I’ll send you my local guide.
