In less than thirty seconds the flip flops are assembled right in front of them. A basic commodity suddenly becomes a personalized product. When customers are involved in creating what they buy, the perceived value increases significantly. Many entrepreneurs believe they need to invent something completely new. In reality, many successful businesses simply rethink how an existing product is sold. Flip flops have existed for decades, but when you add customization and customer involvement, the product becomes far more valuable.
