PHToday’s City Council session was about honoring service, culture, and community across Philadelphia. 🏙️
I was proud to introduce a resolution recognizing the women of the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office during Women’s History Month, uplifting their tireless service, sacrifice, and invaluable contributions to the safety and well-being of our city under the leadership of Rochelle Bilal (@phillysheriff). 👮🏾♀️🚨💪🏾
We also introduced meaningful resolutions, led by Councilmember @cindybassphilly, celebrating Mary Nolan and her family for their lasting impact at the Commodore Barry Arts & Cultural Center (@irishcenterphilly), and by @cmninaahmad recognizing the contributions of Taiwanese Americans while strengthening Philadelphia’s global partnerships. 🌎 📊 💵
I was also proud to honor Donna Cooper of @childrenfirstpa, a true champion for our children and families here in Philadelphia. Her leadership continues to move our city forward. 👏🏾
Grateful to continue lifting up the people and communities that make our city strong. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
