My mission is to make art that not only looks good, but also provides a therapeutic, mood-enhancing experience for the observer. The forms of my sculptures are based on sacred geometry patterns found in nature that have been proven to have a calming effect. I integrate concealed LEDs that project coloured light across the pieces. The lighting is controlled by specially designed electronics that enable the creation of animated sequences, as well as the ability to transform sound frequencies into proportional light frequencies. This audio-visual correlation, when combined with the geometric forms of the sculptures, creates a hypnotic, immersive experience that puts you into a relaxing trance almost immediately, thereby relieving stress and improving wellbeing. Though all three are driven by motors operating at the same speed, each unfolds differently, maintaining its own rhythm, silhouette, and gesture. What appears synchronized never fully resolves into sameness. The work explores repetition as a site of variation, where subtle deviations accumulate over time and movement becomes a temporal structure. Rather than dramatic transformation, Working Buds asks for sustained attention to gradual change, recurrence, and difference. #KineticSculpture #ContemporarySculpture #InstallationArt

Layer by layer, chaos gives way to calm. A stainless steel sculpture emerges: smooth, reflective, and delicately rounded. A total contrast to the environment it was born in. As light moves across its surface, it comes alive—casting vibrant blues, magentas, and gold into the surrounding space. At its core, a mirrored, iridescent ring draws you inward… like a gateway between realities. Meanwhile, metallic butterflies break free, drifting beyond the form itself. From noise to stillness. From process to presence. Sooo, that’s a wrap! ✨🔥✨My MFA Thesis Show, Wayfinding is done! I love that I can roll up my paintings; they travel so lightly! As I was taking the show down, I accidentally placed some oil paintings underneath the light sculptures and what a show! So interesting to see what paint and light do together. I have been exploring this concept for several years, and the first time it happened was also an accident. I accidentally left an overhead light on in a gallery window and went back at night to see what it looked like. The whole painting was illuminated! Over the years I then combined it with the idea of taking the paintings off the wall and seeing what happens when painting and light can move together, as in these sculptures…but there is always something new to discover! #lightsculpture #oilpainting #experimentalart #lightandcolor
