VAFormia was my Nonna’s home in Italy🩵
Shortly after my Nonna passed away 8 years ago I went to visit our family and see where she lived growing up 🤍
I still remember catching the plane there and just about to land looking over Italy was so surreal. My family took me right to the port where Nonna docked her ship to Australia, it was just so special to see where she took that courageous step to leave all her family behind and start a new life on her own in another country 🇦🇺
At times where I think I’m not brave enough to do something, I think of my Nonna taking this step and it always gives me the courage 🤍
Also, Formia was such an underrated part of Italy, not as busy as other parts and just so beautiful, definitely worth adding to your list if heading to Italy soon! ✨
