SWThe Freedom Trail is a must see for history lovers in Boston, MA! There are 16 significant sites along the path from the when the colonists started to rebel against British rule.
In addition to the historical sites, there are numerous restaurants and bars- and so much life on these streets! It’s completely walkable, safe and clean ! I highly recommend dedicating an entire day or two to this area-

3️⃣ Rent bikes: I suggest grabbing a Bluebike at Dartmouth St at Newbury St, ride straight down to take a right on the Dartmouth Street Footbridge then enjoy biking along the scenic Charles River. On your ride back, don’t miss the rows of brownstones on Commonwealth Avenue that has a bike lane
4️⃣ Boston Public Library: I love libraries that make you feel like Belle from Beauty and the Beast
5️⃣ Eat Lobster Roll at Boston Harbor: My favorite is from @row34 grab it to go and walk 10 minutes to the scenic Boston Harbor
6️⃣ Explore Beacon Hill: Stroll through the historic and most picturesque neighborhood.

7️⃣ Walk Freedom Trail: 2.5 mile long red brick path that passes 16 significant historic sites. Start at the Boston Common Visitors Center and download ‘Freedom Trail Boston Guide’ self guided tour where you can walk at your own pace
8️⃣ Eat in North End: known as Little Italy and you can eat anywhere for the most delicious food. A must is to get a cannoli from Mike’s Pastry

Immerse yourself in the rich history of the American Revolution. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the city’s history.

We did part of it on our own and also joining a tour organized by a local non profit association that leaves from the Boston Common Visitor Center, and in which they told us a thousand and one curiosities about the city and its celebrities.
