ROFitness should be functional
I move to be a better Mama. I move to be a better me. I move to demonstrate my daughter the importance of self love. I move to show my daughter the importance of perseverance, consistency, and intrinsic motivation.
Mamas, the postpartum workouts won’t be the same as they were. They won’t be as long or as easy to come by. There will probably be lots of pauses - to comfort, to hug, and to feed. Include your kids anyway. Do the workout anyway. Your future self will thank you.
And on the days or seasons where everything seems hard, do it anyway. Just for 10 minutes. For your mental health. For your physical health. And to model self-care for your little ones.
Remember that something is better than nothing. Don’t let the idea of perfection get in the way of the PROCESS and PROGRESS!
