ES5-minute Handwriting Practice ~
1. Start with graph paper (my golden coil notebook) !
Graph paper is amazing for handwriting practice because the boxes give you built-in guides for letter height, spacing, and consistency. It trains your hand to write straighter, neater, and more evenly without having to think about it!
2. The basics
Using basic strokes like | — ° ~ c .. helps your handwriting because it strengthens the tiny muscles that control each letter, making your writing smoother and more consist.
3. ABC’s
Writing your ABCs trains your hand to master each letter’s shape and rhythm, so your everyday handwriting becomes more natural and consistent.
4. Pangrams
Practicing pangrams helps your handwriting because they force you to write every letter of the alphabet in natural word form, building speed, consistency, and flow all at once.
5. Sizes of letters (extra)
Writing your letters from small to big helps you build control and lets you see which size feels the most natural for you, making it easier to find the handwriting style you write best with.
(You don’t have to do the whole alphabet, just a few!)
You can incorporate this in any free five minutes you may have! You’ll handwriting will improve in NO time!
