Adversity is part of everyone’s journey. Some deal with it well Some deal with it like shit The way we approach these times are what makes all the difference to the end result we see If you’re someone who smashed it on strong week… But then as soon as life chucks shit at you - you fall off track You will never get the result you want If when life chucks shit at you you do the following you will continue to progress ⬇️ ➡️ Keep daily standards ➡️ Keep weekly non-negotiables ➡️ Make any needed adaptions so you don’t miss anything ➡️ Continue to push even if you don’t feel like it These seem like simple things but so many let things slip.

Most people don’t lack a good programme. They lack the courage to train hard enough. Calories and protein aside for a second… (shocking I know, fitness can talk about more than deficits) Do you actually train to your maximum capacity? I’ll answer that for you. Probably not. Before the keyboard warriors start citing papers about how training to failure can impact recovery… Let me be very clear. Most gym goers are nowhere near their true limit. Nowhere near real failure. Which is exactly why learning what absolute failure actually feels like is so important. Not every set. But sometimes. Because until you experience it, you don’t actually know how hard you can push. Not just physically. Mentally. After a long day at work, stressful clients and a full schedule, what does the brain want? Comfort. Netflix. Food. Bed. So yes, dragging yourself to the gym is a win. But if you’ve been frustrated with your progress for months, if not years… Showing up alone isn’t enough. At some point you need to explore your upper limits. Push the ceiling higher. Get uncomfortable. Those reps where the lactic acid kicks in and your mind is screaming stop… That’s where the stimulatory reps live. That’s where the higher threshold motor units get recruited. That’s where change actually happens. Do you need to hit failure every session? No. Should you experience it sometimes? Absolutely. Learn your body. Push your mind. And watch your progress change. Keep doing the same half-effort sessions day in, day out… And expect the same half-effort results. Simples.

Any time you decide to level up, someone will remind you how “hard” it is.💯 Make sure you still do it anyway.🎯 How many times I’ve said I wanted to do something and someone replied with, “Do you know how hard that is?” “That’s going to be tough.” As if hard is a reason not to try.😅 Hard isn’t the warning people think it is. Hard is the filter. Anything worth building, your body, your mindset, your life is supposed to be hard.💯 The question isn’t “is it hard?” The question is “are you willing?” ✌️

Most people don’t quit because the plan failed. They quit because they hit the phase where effort is high… and visible results are quiet. That stretch fools a lot of people. It feels like nothing is happening. But that’s usually the exact moment when the work is finally stacking. The body is adapting. Habits are compounding. The scoreboard just hasn’t caught up yet. A lot of transformations end three weeks before they would have started showing. Not because the process was broken. Because someone made a permanent decision based on a temporary feeling. Stay in the game longer than average and the results eventually have no choice but to show up. 👉 If you want real structure and accountability behind your goals, my 1-on-1 coaching gives you: • 24/7 direct messaging access to me and my coaching team • A custom training and nutrition plan built for you • Weekly mindset calls with me • A community of like-minded people pushing in the same direction • Guaranteed results DM me “COACH” for details or click the link in my bio to apply. ✊🏻 Coach Fisch

Start small. Stack the wins. When we have delayed prioritising our health for so long, we may end up in a state of fear where we feel we have to rush to get on our game again, but this does more harm than good. Overcommitting makes you run the risk of draining yourself so much that it puts you off for longer or you may even get injured. You are probably sick of people telling you, ‘you just need more motivation,’ ‘you need discipline,’ ‘you don’t want it bad enough,’ but these narratives just make things worse. Life is hard enough as it is. You have priorities like work, family, rest. Adding something extra feels like it’s the needle that breaks the camel’s back – I get it and that’s why I’m here. I’m not here to shit on you and tell you to sort yourself out. I’m here to show you that there are sustainable ways and tools you can use to build momentum again. Because I care about seeing people improve their health. Athlete’s and seasoned gym goers don’t need my advice, they are cruising already. But you, you may have let yourself go, or just have no clue where to begin and that’s how I can help. You don’t need motivation. You don’t need discipline. You need to create a story that makes prioritising your health feel important enough that you can’t say no. Superficial goals will only lead you to stopping when you hit it. But creating a vision where you want energy to spend time with your family after a long day at work rather than sitting on your couch, or being able to travel in you 70s with your kids and potentially your grandkids, does this not feel more exciting? It does for me! If you have no idea what to do, or struggle staying consistent or struggling to get going, DM me ‘COACH’ and we’ll make a plan together that feels exciting for you. My goal is to help you feel excited to incorporate exercise into your life, not to turn you into a pro athlete (although the sky is the limit 🤪😝). Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. You deserve to finally prioritise your health for once. It is easy when you know what to do. Let’s build together! #fitnessjourney #gymlife #healthandfitness #healthcoach #mentalhealth

The intensity paradox. People love turning this into a war. “Motivation gets you started, discipline keeps you going.” Cute. But treating motivation like the villain is like blaming your steering wheel because the car needs gas. Motivation matters. We have a dopamine system built for it. Use it, don’t let it use you, and definitely don’t rely on it. Whether motivated or not, we still have to do the thing if we want to get good at the thing. Cultivating a strong relationship? Show up for that person often. Building a business? Even with complete AI automation, you gotta check if the computer is on and update GPT, which holy shit that’s a daily thing now. Even becoming addicted to TikTok requires consistent scrolling. You won’t get addicted by binging one day and never touching the app again. Back from robots & TikTok dances: all methods work. What doesn’t? Going so hard you can’t show up again. Fatigue spikes. Recovery drags. Progress flatlines. Your ego shoots higher than the Burj Khalifa (828m)… then you crash. Your ego crashes too. Motivation becomes a broken parachute and won’t save you. The human system loves TV shows more than single episodes. Binge a whole season: eyes hurt, head hurts, nightmares—even if it’s a love story. It’s harder to stay consistent when every workout feels like a comeback story. it’s much easier to continue than to start over. This isn’t about training soft. It’s understanding that showing up is the most important variable in life and learning. I don’t speak in absolutes because reality doesn’t work that way (only selling does). Everything works. It’s not motivation vs consistency. It’s about enjoying the process enough that you can adhere to it. But adherence isn’t sexy and it doesn’t go viral unless it’s a TikTok dance. There are infinite variables I can’t cover in 2,200 characters which is why you’re subscribed to our newsletter where I can fit my essays, right? ;) Family… Sprint if you can recover. Run if you can keep the pace. But when in doubt… just walk. Walking is forward motion. And you can’t lose if you don’t stop. So keep walking, or dancing on tick-tock. With Love, Gabo 2X 👽👽

If you feel lost or unmotivated, it’s usually because you’re moving through life without clear goals. No direction leads to no drive. The truth is: it starts with you. Fix you first, your habits, your mindset, your discipline and everything else slowly begins to fall into place. Build a strong body and you’ll build a stronger mind. Training your body teaches you discipline, resilience, and focus. That strength channels positive energy into your mind and into every area of your life. Change your environment. Surround yourself with growth, challenge, and purpose. When you work on yourself daily, motivation stops being something you chase… and becomes something you create. 💪
