CHHealth Update (3.19.26):
It goes without saying that these last few months have been the most difficult of my entire life.
Your prayers, and well wishes are SO very needed, and appreciated. I truly feel covered by every single one of them, and they’ve lifted me up, and kept me strong during a time where I couldn’t be strong myself.
Thank you.

The countdown is officially here, and sadly, I am actually excited now.
Excited to feel better. Excited for the restoration of (much needed) energy. Excited for nutrition, and stability.
Excited for another option, when all others seem to be failing me.
However, this is likely my only option insofar as nutrition goes.
My GI system has proven time, and time again its inability to absorb, and process enteral feeds. I keep trying different routes, but all lead to the same ditch where I just feel stranded.

For those who may not be caught up:
I am going inpatient on Monday, March 23rd (which just so happens to also be my birthday) to try TPN at a different hospital. This hospital specializes in TPN, and intestinal rehab.
I wish my birthday was the only thing I was counting down to right now, but I’m finding that sometimes life is really unfair.
The hope is that this hospital (in NYC) can pre-medicate me appropriately so that I will tolerate TPN, therefore avoiding any allergic reactions. This will allow me to continue receiving TPN safely.
Currently, this is the option we are praying for, and I would appreciate your prayers for this, too.

Thank you for being here.
If you are looking for specifics to pray for, here’s my current list:
• A direct admission (bypassing the ER)
• A kind team with gentle bedside manner
• For my family
• For my team to send me home specially with IV allergy medication I can administer at home (Benadryl), which has allowed me to tolerate TPN well previously.
• For a private/single room because of health reasons
4 days.
We got this!
Thank you SO much.
I appreciate you all!!
