So HOW do I navigate this type of reaction when I am up on the big stage? Well for starters, you have to understand the audience. I went through multiple speeches with these groups wondering “What am I doing wrong? How come they are silent?” before I realized, that is just their MO. So I adapted and overcame this challenge by adding in some humor and interaction throughout my speech vs. just at the end. This is your JOB as a speaker to get them engaged. This is not just my story — it’s a lesson for every serious UPSC/MPSC student. 📌 My Journey 🔹 2023 – Started Civil Services preparation 🔹 UPSC coaching was unaffordable, so I appeared for multiple scholarship exams 🔹 2024 – Selected for BARTI Scholarship But the real struggle began here… 📚 Study was happening, ❌ But no answer checking ❌ No guidance ❌ No mistake correction ⏳ And BARTI time was limited to just 11 months In February 2025, I came to Pune with one clear goal 👇 👉 Find a place where preparation is genuine, disciplined, and student-centric — not just “party beyond syllabus”. Without wasting time, I joined Nirav Da. ✨ What changed after joining? 📝 My biggest fear — Answer Writing — disappeared ⏱️ Time per answer reduced from 30–40 minutes to just 10–12 minutes 🔥 A strict but powerful routine: 🕖 7 AM – Library 📝 2:30–3:30 – Tests 🎓 4–6 – Lectures 📖 Self-study after that This routine didn’t just improve my preparation… 💪 It rebuilt my confidence Yes, syllabus was completed in 11 months… But what about practice? 👉 That’s where the right mentor matters.
