JAHip Hop is not a trend.
It is history. It is resistance. It is brilliance.
When I teach the history and culture of Hip Hop, I’m not just teaching music. I’m teaching innovation born from neglect. I’m teaching literacy through lyricism. I’m teaching emotional regulation through rhythm. I’m teaching identity, voice, and power.
Hip Hop saved lives.
Hip Hop built community.
Hip Hop told the truth when no one else would.
To stand in front of a room and pass that legacy forward is sacred to me.
This is bigger than a workshop.
This is preservation.
This is liberation.
