ME🍗 Creamy Paprika Chicken with Tender Rice (Quick Recipe)
⏱️ Ready in: 30 minutes
🍽️ Serves: 3–4
Ingredients
Chicken
500 g boneless chicken (breast or thighs), bite-size
1 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1½ tsp paprika (smoked if possible)
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
½ cup cooking cream (or fresh cream)
¼ cup chicken stock or water
Optional: 1 tbsp tomato paste
Tender Rice
1 cup basmati rice, washed & soaked 20 min
2 cups water or chicken stock
1 tbsp butter or oil
Salt to taste
Instructions
1) Rice
Bring water/stock to a boil with salt & butter.
Add rice, cover, simmer on low 12–15 min until fluffy. Rest 5 min.
2) Creamy Paprika Chicken
Heat oil & butter in a pan. Sauté onion until soft.
Add garlic, cook 30 sec.
Add chicken, salt & pepper; cook until sealed.
Stir in paprika (and tomato paste if using).
Add stock/water, simmer 5 min.
Pour in cream, simmer 5–7 min until thick and creamy.
Serve
Spoon creamy paprika chicken over tender rice.
Garnish with parsley or a pinch of paprika 🌶️
💡 Tips:
For extra richness, add a little cheese at the end.
Prefer mild? Use sweet paprika; spicy? Add chili flakes.
