DRShould homeopathy be part of your birth plan?
In my opinion… absolutely, yes.
As a naturopathic doctor and mama myself, I’ve used homeopathy for all of my labors, and it’s something I continue to recommend inside the Doctor Mom Membership and to patients in my practice.
🌿 Homeopathic remedies can be a gentle, safe, and powerful way to support labor and postpartum recovery.
Here are a few of my favorite homeopathic remedies for labor and delivery:
✔️ Arnica – for trauma, soreness, and bruising. I always take it before and after birth.
✔️ Cimicifuga – great when contractions are irregular or not progressing well.
✔️ Pulsatilla – for emotional support and pain sensitivity. This one helped me through those moments I didn’t think I could keep going.
✔️ Nux Vomica – for irritability, impatience, and that “don’t talk to me right now” energy 😂 (yes, that’s a real phase of labor!)
✨ The beauty of homeopathy is that it works with your body, not against it.
Whether you're planning a home birth or heading to the hospital, these remedies can be a powerful part of your natural birth toolkit.
