REBe Water — The Power of Adaptability
One of the most powerful life philosophies was shared by Bruce Lee.
In a rare 1971 interview with Pierre Berton, he said:
“Empty your mind.
Be formless, shapeless — like water.”
Because water has a unique nature.
Put it in a cup…
it becomes the cup.
Put it in a bottle…
it becomes the bottle.
Water doesn’t resist.
It adapts.
And life works the same way.
Many people suffer not only because life is hard —
but because they fight reality.
They resist change.
They cling to expectations.
They try to control everything.
But life is always moving.
When we refuse to adapt…
we break.
Water teaches a different way.
Sometimes it flows gently.
Sometimes it crashes with force.
Yet it always remains water.
Flexible.
Responsive.
Powerful.
This philosophy shaped the teachings of Bruce Lee, shared while developing ideas for the series Longstreet, shortly before his rise to fame in The Big Boss.
And the lesson is simple:
Life will change.
The question is —
can you adapt without losing yourself?
Because those who move like water
can navigate any storm.
