EXCommon itip mistakes: application errors ✨
#1: itip is too tight. This is going to create tugging and pulling leading to irritation and damage (especially if your client try’s to put their hair up) remember itips should have 360° mobility but if we make them so tight they can’t move then what…
#2: elevated while applied. So we want to clamp these with little elevation. Excessive elevation creates a waterfall effect where the itips sprout off the head. This means the hair on the underside has slack and is this not actually supporting the itips weight (meaning only the upper portion of the section is which can create a big tension spot)
#3: i-tip sticking out. Why do I still see this!? 😂 but I do. Itips should not stick out!! That is so uncomfortable for clients. Line that itip up with the top of the bead. Don’t drop it lower either or it can fall out. Fill that bead up!
