2. Hold your breath for a count of 4.
3. Exhale through your mouth for a count of 4.
4. Hold again for a count of 4.
Repeat this cycle for several minutes, focusing on the rhythm and the sensations of breathing. Box breathing helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and enhancing focus. It’s used by athletes, Navy SEALs, and people in high-stress environments for its calming effects.
