TH🚨 Drone Inspection Uncovers Critical Fire Hazard on Solar Site 🚨
One of our recent drone inspections revealed a dangerous issue at a solar site.
Multiple rows of solar modules were identified as offline. Thermal imaging revealed checkered hotspots across several strings, indicating a serious issue. Upon further analysis, it was discovered that a mix-up of positive and negative connections was creating a hazardous thermal condition called reverse polarity.
This incident emphasizes the importance of regular drone inspections to detect hidden risks and prevent costly or dangerous outcomes. Thanks to the inspection, the issue was immediately reported to the site’s maintenance manager for prompt resolution.
