Karma is three types: a) Prarabda karma, b) Agami Karma, c) kriyamana karma. A Hindu must visit their Kuldevi and Kuldevata once in a year, this also helps to get rid of Pitru dosh (ancestral trauma) and clear life obstacles, support one’s spiritual progress and give protection. Once a Kula identity is lost, it is gone forever which is why Hindus should preserve their lineages.
