LNAT advice: multiple choice question edition Honestly, this is the hardest exam I have ever sat. But don’t believe people when they say you can’t prepare for it and improve!! I went from getting 17 in practice papers to 31 in the actual thing. Hopefully these tips will help all the aspiring law students out there (**background info in case you are confused about what the LNAT is: it’s an entrance exam that some UK unis require you to take as part of the admissions process to study law. It’s 2hrs15 and contains a multiple choice section and essay question section) make sure to follow @legallylucy_ for more tips! #lnat #lnatadvice #ucas #year13 #aspiringlawstudent #lawschool

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐍𝐀𝐓 Thinking about applying to top UK law schools next year and wondering about the LNAT? 🤔 You're not alone! One of the most common questions we get at CANA Elite is: "When should I start preparing for the LNAT?" Our UK University Admissions consultant, Kian Ng, shares his invaluable advice, drawing from years of experience guiding students to success. His key takeaway? It all starts with understanding your current standing. 🎯Find Your Baseline – Start Now! 🎯 Kian suggests doing a practice paper right now. This isn't about getting a perfect score; it's about identifying your strengths, pinpointing areas that need improvement, and getting a realistic sense of the exam's demands. Once you have this baseline, strategic planning becomes much easier and more effective. It's like checking your map before embarking on a journey – you need to know where you are to plan where you're going! 🗓️Optimal Timing for Preparation 🗓️ Historically, Kian notes that many successful students begin their LNAT preparation in June or July. Why this timeframe? Because the LNAT itself is most often taken in October, sometimes a bit earlier in September. This gives you a solid 3-4 month window to build skills, practice, and refine your approach without feeling rushed. Ready to ace your LNAT and secure your spot at your dream law school? Unlock your full potential with CANA Elite! Reach out today to explore our LNAT preparation courses for next year and discover how our team of experts provide the strategic guidance you need for admission success. 📞 WhatsApp us at 5540 1560 (Sheung Wan) / 5406 0663 (Shek Mun). 🌐 Visit us at www.canaelite.com 📩 Email us at cana@canaelite.com #Law #University #LNAT #UK #Studying #Student #InternationalSchool #AspiringLawyer

The LNAT is so flawed in so many ways I can’t even begin to describe my hatred for it 😒 I spoke about this in depth on YouTube as it’s something Ive never seen anyone talk about 🤔 The LNAT is essential to your application to some Universities, but the test is widly unfair to first generation lawyers - on YouTube I explain the LNAT in detail - what it is and its different sections, and go into why it is so flawed ▶️ Watch the full video on YouTube for more on the studying law, coping with stress, the LNAT and more! - link in bio 🔗🩵 #lawyer #lawschool #LNAT #lnatips #WhatistheLNAT #becomealawyer

Preparing for the LNAT isn’t about shortcuts or guesswork. It’s about learning how to think critically, argue precisely, and write with conviction. Reaching universities like Oxford starts long before the application, it begins with preparation done right. Dreaming of Oxford? Visiting the Clifford Chance office was amazing and the ACCESS program as a whole has been such an invaluable experience. 🏙📚 Because of this, I’d like to share my top three application tips for all year 12 students thinking of applying. 1. Research the firm Use the firms LinkedIn, their website and any news articles you can find on work they’ve been involved in recently and try to link your research back to your interests and the things you are already involved in. For example, I linked a Model United Nations conference about climate change I had been involved in, to some of the work Clifford Chance had done involving renewable energy. 2. Use keywords In researching the firm some keywords will come up again and again. Try to put some of these in your written answers without making it too obvious. Instead of saying “I am passionate about innovation” talk about a project or area of interest and explain how innovation has benefited you or those around you. 3. Be unique or make your experiences sound unique I was recently told by a member of graduate recruitment that “100 people who have been head girls or head boys will apply for a place on this program but it’s about how you can apply the skills you have learnt from that leadership position that will get you a place on this program.” Graduate recruitment read hundreds of applications so you have to try and find something you’ve done that no one else has done, or show how you have gained something unique from an experience, to make yourself stand out. Good luck to everyone applying for the program and as always feel free to DM me and I’ll review your application. ✨⚖️ - - - - - - - - - - #aspiringlawyers #lawstudentsofinstagram #alevel #lawyerslife #lawstudent #law #alevelstudent #corporatelawyer #lawstudentslife #aspiringlawyerproblems #aspiringsolicitor #aspiringlawyer #corporatelawuk #aspiringlawyers🎓 #lawstudentguide_ #aspiringlawstudent #corporatelawyerlife #corporatelawpractice #lawyers #corporatelawyers #LNAT #lawyerlifestyle #corporatelaw #lawyer #alevels2021 #lawstudentjourney #alevelrevision #aspiringlawyers⚖️ #lawstudentdiary #lawyerproblems

There was a very strong sentiment of keeping your stats, grades, and profiles a bit of a mystery until you sent in your applications during highschool and uni (nazar is real y’all 🧿) But now that I see so many people ask about my personal statement, grades, scores — I want to share it in the spirit of not gatekeeping specially if it helps someone with their applications 🙌🏼 #oxforduni #oxforduniversity #oxford #oxbridge #uk #studyinuk #stats #lnat #grades #uniapplications #personalstatement #ucas #unilife #internationalstudent #student #indianstudent #ukindia #studyabroad #law #lawstudent

@universityofwarwick Thank yourself later. Here are our top tips for writing your personal statement 👇 1. Plan ahead. Think carefully about the content of your statement, and give yourself enough time to draft and refine your text. 2. Focus on the course. 70-80% of your personal statement should explain why you want to study your chosen subject. The rest should summarise your interests and experiences more generally, and how they relate to your course. 3. Be clear and concise. Clearly articulate the points you want to make and try not to waffle. The word count is a helpful guide - you don’t have to write exactly that amount. 4. Structure matters. Ensure your statement has a clear beginning, middle, and end. Make sure you conclude by summarising your academic interest in your chosen course. 5. Check your spelling and grammar. Read through your personal statement carefully when you’ve finished writing, and ask someone to proofread it before submitting your application. They may spot things you’ve missed.
