FI2026 LEGO x Stranger Things set!
This is not just a house. It’s a mechanical masterpiece!
Thank you LEGO group for sending me this set for the review!
Icons series set #11370 The Creel House would be released on January 1st, 2026. It consists of 2593 pieces and costs 299.99 USD / 279.99 EUR / 1199.99 PLN. Set contains 13 Unique Minififures. It comes with GWP #40891 WSQK The Squawk Radio Station which comes with 2 unique Minifigures of Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper.
What I like:
- You’ll probably say I’m wrong, but this set is unmatched – it exceeded my expectations tenfold after seeing it assembled. The house transformation mechanism is a LEGO Technic masterpiece. With a single movement, multiple modules are set in motion (on different axes). You need to do this several times to understand what’s happening and how it works.
- For Stranger Things fans, this Minifigure set is a must-have. I’m not talking about Vecna - he’s okay - but Dustin Henderson in the Hellfire Club T-shirt is a hit! Plus, we get Season 5 exclusive characters - Holly, who was a very minor character, and Mr. Whatsit. Joyce and Hopper have been added to the GWP.
- Two cars - they didn’t need to be here, but they complement the whole set quite nicely. I’m guessing the dark red one is Steve’s BMW.
- The details in the house (furniture, accessories such as tableware, telephone, etc.) and boarded-up windows - all this makes the set complete.
What I don’t like:
- Despite the large number of pieces, you might be surprised to learn that the house isn’t actually very deep. At its deepest point, the baseplate has only 18 studs (including the terrain in front of the building). I suspect this was required for the transformation mechanism to work, but it also enhances the house’s playability rather than its shelf display.
- Unfortunately, we get a lot of stickers and often these are the hated stickers that have to be stuck to the concave interior of the panel, which makes it difficult to position the sticker at the right angle and with even margins.
