DAAnything is worth me raising my baby myself—even half the income and a tiny house for a few years.
Here’s what we gladly live without (and would choose again & again!!!):
First—send this to someone who needs the permission💛
💛 No WiFi or TV.
Yes, really. We miss it sometimes! But it gives us back our time, pushes us outside, and keeps screens from discipling our family.
💛 Eating out is rare—and SUPER cheap when we do.
Think Taco Bell or Waffle House.
💛 No daily coffee runs.
Loose-leaf tea at home bought in bulk for me. Dylan’s Diet Pepsi only when Kroger does buy-2-get-2.
💛 Almost zero subscriptions.
Spotify Premium stays. We’re music people🤭
💛 Clothes only when needed.
Trends don’t move us. Thrifting does. Wants wait for birthdays or Christmas.
💛 At-home haircuts.
Cheaper. Fun stories. Questionable layers. Hehehe
💛 1,000 sq ft house.
Less space to fill. Smaller mortgage. More togetherness.
💛 No seasonal décor hauls.
Everything we own is collected slowly—gifted, handmade, meaningful.
💛 Low-maintenance beauty.
Simple skincare. Minimal makeup. No nails, no salon visits. True femininity isn’t for sale, anyways.
💛 Bulk and homemade food.
Grain sacks. Dry beans. Fresh-milled flour. Bread on the counter. Yogurt from scratch.
💛 Thrift first. Always.
If we need it, we check secondhand before buying new.
💛 “Nice vs. need.”
Nice is endless. Need is simple.
Creativity > consumption.
💛 Hand-me-downs welcomed.
Baby gear, furniture, tools—we say yes to used and well-loved. Community is there for a reason!!!
FOLLOW me if this is your vibe!!!!🥰
This life isn’t deprivation.
It’s intentional and wonderful.
Life is more than things.
If things are what give you joy in life,
you may want to reevaluate that.
