Don’t recommend squatting with a Xmas tree but hopefully the demonstration is clear 😂 was striding down the street with the tree on one shoulder while digging around for my keys and then opening the front door at the same time and I felt like a goddamn strong lumberjack. The message of this is to say that if you are thinking of goals for next year, I cannot recommend enough the goal of learning how to lift. It can be scary getting started but the community is amazing and you will not regret it. It will add so much value to your life - much much more than ‘I need to lose x kilograms’* and if you do have to have the latter as a goal, add lifting to it! I promise it will be so much more sustainable and fun, and the amount of stuff you’ll be able to do, those strong bones you’re building, better recovery from illnesses and injuries - oof it is wonderful! The number of people who message me saying how much it has helped them do things with their kids, carry heavy shit, move house, do 1001 things they couldn’t before and how it has helped them, is innumerable. (*not including people who may need to do so for health reasons). #instagram #strengthtraining #strength #xmas #liftlife

My current training split: Day 1: Chest/Triceps/Obliques/Cardio Day 2: Legs/Biceps/Abs/Cardio Day 3: Back/Rear Delts/Forearms/Obliques/Cardio Day 4: Shoulders/Triceps/Abs/Cardio Day 5: Legs/Back/Rear Delts/Biceps/Cardio I start each day with a heavy compound!
