GEAfter spotting the problems in Part 1, it’s time to debug.
First check: wiring. The power connections to 5V and ground weren’t color coded, which made it harder to see that the op amp wasn’t powered at all.
Next problem: the gain resistors were in the wrong order.
Then a design issue appeared — the resistor in series with the LED was 100k instead of 100Ω, so almost no current could flow.
And finally… the LED itself was backwards.
Debugging circuits isn’t magic.
It’s just checking things step by step.
