BRAs we countdown to the launch of Loading Bay, we caught up with Project Manager Rosie Freeman to hear about the journey so far.
What started as an ambitious vision is now a temporary pop-up arts space created specifically for Bradford’s year as UK City of Culture. Taking over an empty storage depot on Duke Street, Loading Bay is transforming into a creative hub, bringing a true Bradford 2025 buzz to the city.
With two performance areas and a gallery across three atmospheric floors, the venue will host gigs, comedy nights, immersive theatre, live video games and more - all part of a packed programme of events across the year.
The transformation is nearly complete, and we can’t wait to welcome you inside when Loading Bay opens its doors next week!

SKWe are stoked to announce @theloadingbayglasgow as one of our Pipeline Hubs!
Loading Bay have played a huge part in the Scottish scene over the last few years, so having them as our newest Hub only made sense. Built on an old whiskey delivery depo, this park has many features, including a large bowl, street course, ledges, rails, kink rails, quarters, and so much more.
Heading up the Hub is our latest recruit Jonny Paterson, who will be Lead Coach to support more Scottish rippers in further developing their skateboarding.
