This little neighbourhood has it all: Colourful streets, amazing cafes and bakeries, the cutest shops in town and even a Christmas market at night that only locals know about (only on Wednesday!). It might be busy on weekend but it’s so quiet and peaceful during the week and that’s the real secret you probably didn’t know! You can also buy travelcards or top up Oyster cards at Tube stations. NAVIGATING THE UNDERGROUND: •Apps make it easier to get around. My favourite is @citymapper for Tube times and fastest routes, but TFL Go is another good option. Always check the train’s destination on the platform or front of the train. UNDERGROUND HOUSEKEEPING: • Keep to the right on the escalator. • Leave priority seats free for those who need them. • Check your route before heading onto the Tube as not all trains have 5G connection. • Lost on the Tube? Check the maps and signs at the station. HIDDEN GEMS ON THE UNDERGROUND: • Look out for Tiny Parks. • The World Time Today Map. • Station architecture.
