Headed into her senior season, Abbey has already scored a 1000 points for her high school team (Over two seasons). Led her club team (Attack Basketball) in points, assists, steals and efficiency. She is a leader on and off the court, a high academic with a 96% average. She has been a Team Manitoba Provincial athlete with Basketball Manitoba for three years. Since Abbey joined our program, her commitment to the game has been tremendous… She’s lifting weights 4 times a week at Strive Fitness, shooting at the YMCA every morning and staying on top with her mental game. 🏀 This past weekend was amazing for Manitoba hoops! 🇨🇦 @canadabasketball @sportmanitoba 👉 81 athletes hit the floor for the Canada Basketball National Team ID Camps (29 female | 52 male) as talent born 2008–2010 competed for future U17 & U18 National Team spots. 👉 153 athletes (86 male | 67 female) took part in the Canada Basketball Junior Academy ID Weekend, setting the stage for five weekends of training this fall for players born 2011–2013. 🙌 Big thanks to the athletes, coaches, and families for making both events a success, and to Canada Basketball’s Michael Meeks & Jodi Gram for leading the sessions. The future of Canadian basketball is bright – and it starts here in Manitoba! 🌟 #mbhoops
