SOWhat’s soft, stripey, and surprisingly good at squeezing through small spaces? Meet our Felix sofa in the big back version, shown so nicely here in Caramel Stripe, which might just be my new favourite fabric. It’s woven from organic cotton by a family-run mill in Yorkshire, the same lovely people who worked with my father over 40 years ago. There’s something very very lovely about that kind of continuity… and the fabric itself is beautiful, warm, understated, and just gorgeous.
One of the things I love is the brilliant practicality. The arms can be unbolted (yes, really), and the whole thing can be disassembled if needed, which means it’ll fit through even the narrowest hallway or trickiest staircase. So if you’ve fallen in love, but your access is tricky for some reason, don’t worry because this really works for you.
And most importantly of course, yes, it’s gloriously comfortable. The kind of sofa you accidentally spend hours on without meaning to.
