Here’s the truth that nobody says plainly enough: Nobody likes Donald Trump.
You are either paid to like him. Forced to like him because you’re addicted to the power or you share his DNA and you’re just stomaching it.
That’s the complete list.
And here’s the thing — he doesn’t like anybody either.
His personality is: I’ve been harmed. I’m repressed. I’m angry and I’m going to take it out on as many people as possible.
But here’s where it gets complicated.
He’s not wrong about why his people are angry.
-The elites sent the manufacturing to China.
-They prosecuted two forever wars that bled the treasury dry.
-When the financial crisis hit they gave all the money to the banks and nothing to the people getting foreclosed on.
That’s a real betrayal and a lot of people felt it.
Trump looked at that group and said: I see you. I am you.
And they gravitated to him.
That’s where the power comes from. Not love. Shared grievance.
