I tried the NYX Make ’Em Wonder Soft Matte Buildable Foundation in 02 Fair Porcelain, and honestly, it’s a decent everyday foundation with a few caveats. The texture is lightweight and spreads easily, which I really like, especially for quick makeup days. It gives a soft matte finish that looks natural on the skin—not flat or cakey—and it’s definitely buildable if you want a little more coverage without it feeling heavy. Coverage-wise, I’d call it light to medium. It evens out skin tone nicely but won’t fully cover acne or darker hyperpigmentation without concealer. On my skin, it looked smooth at first, but after a few hours it did start to cling to dry patches and emphasized texture a bit, especially around the nose and chin. The pigmentation gives me nice even coverage without feeling too cakey. It wears well throughout the day and still looks fresh hours later without feeling dry. To me this gives a medium full to full coverage in one application. I do find the formula to be a soft matte, it’s not drying. This is warm beige and it leans very warm, I could use a neautral so keep that in mind when picking a shade.
