We’re female-founded and actually making period products that are better than what we’ve had to put up with for years. Our disc gives you up to 12 hours of leak protection and has the capacity of 6+ super tampons. Yes, we said 6!! If you’ve tried a period disc before, but experienced leaking, most likely it’s just not in the correct spot. Our biggest tip is to make sure it’s all the way back (it’s a dead end, so we promise you it won’t get lost) and to tuck it behind your pubic bone. Which period product is better? Tampons: Chances are you’re most familiar with this product. Many find tampons to be uncomfortable, especially when your period flow is light. They also need to be changed out frequently. Not to mention some contain PFAS and other harmful chemicals. BUT, you have a ton of options to choose from! Period Discs: Menstrual discs are great for heavy periods. 1 Flex Reusable Disc has 12-hr wear and is the equivalent of 6+ super tampons. Period discs can be more comfortable because they sit higher (where there are less nerve endings) than a tampon. BUT, since this was most likely not the period product you were first introduced to, there can be a learning curve. Period Cups: Menstrual cups are also great for heavy flows. Flex Cup also has 12-hr wear with Flex Cup (size 01 ) being the equivalent of 2 super tampons and Flex Cup (size 02 ) the equivalent of 3 super tampons. People are usually more familiar with period cups than discs, BUT are sometimes nervous about the suction. That’s why we invented a pull-tab that breaks the seal for you!
