Visit The Met Store Fifth Avenue to step into the world of Claude Monet’s garden in a life-size @lego installation of the “Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies” built by celebrated brick artist @nathansawaya. This 8-foot immersive reinterpretation celebrates The Met Store’s new LEGO® Art set portraying the iconic artwork.
From Garden to the Gallery! The installation recreates the iconic water lily pond at Monet’s home in Giverny as seen in the original masterpiece, on view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 819. Combining over 60,000+ bricks and 192 hours of craftsmanship - this is the first LEGO® installation ever displayed at The Met, and is not to be missed!
WHERE: 📍The Met Fifth Avenue. 1000 Fifth Avenue (at 82nd Street).
WHEN: ⏰Museum Hours: Sun-Tue, Thurs: 10 am-5 pm. Fri-Sat 10 am-9 pm. Closed Wednesdays. The LEGO® installation is located near Gallery 819, and will be on view through June 2026.
TICKETS: 🎟️Pay what you wish for NY residents. Adults: $30, Students $17, Children (12 and under) Free.
FOR KIDS: 🎈Drop by the 81st Street Studio, a free interactive play space for kids, and stop by the information desk to pick up a Family Guide during your visit. The Met also offers a wonderful Kids & Families program, including a family membership - check online for details.
