PAI couldn’t go far or be out long for the Geminids peak last night due to health reasons.
But, practically in my backyard, nature blessed me with a beautiful and rare red trailed meteor zipping by Orion.
Red streaked meteors are usually asteroid in origin, the red streaking formed by the slow burn up of a hard material.
Zoomed in, Hail Mary type attempts sometimes do pay off :)
