SC🦠 Cell's death.
What is shown in the video is a ciliated protozoa (Paramecium sp.), a unicellular organism.
The death of the organism is due to the increase in pressure between the slide and the coverslip. The pressure causes the cell membrane to rupture.
When it breaks, it can be seen how the endoplasm, as well as the macronucleus and some vacuoles spread through the medium outside the cell itself.
The two large spheres seen inside the cell are contractile vacuoles.
The video was sped up by about 6x.
It is not a case of apoptosis. It has nothing to do with diseases or viruses.
