we reached episode 10 of mini adventures after work! 🙌🏼✨ following on from the message of this reel, I feel lucky in a million different ways. I have a safe cosy home, food on the table, lots of loved ones around and a job I enjoy. But that doesn’t mean I live in some kind of fantasy world where real life responsibilities don’t exist😅 Sure, there are circumstances for people around the world where this isn’t possible, but for the vast majority I feel really strongly that a spare half an hour can be made once a week! A mini adventure doesn’t even need to be an activity on it own. Going to the supermarket to do the weekly shop? Maybe you can stop off somewhere on the way to create some forest art like I did here🍂🌲🍃 #microadventure #adventurewomen #womenoutdoorsuk #miniadventure #5to9 #afterworkadventures #localadventures #localadventurechallenge

You don’t need months off work or a ton of money for a micro adventure. So what’s stopping you from going on one? Over the next 6 weeks I aim to get beginners to bike adventure ready (and maybe even inspire some adventure pros). All you need is a bike, a backpack and the will to get out there! I’ll be posting every Monday and will run through what to pack, where to cycle to and how to get the most out of your mini bike adventure. You don’t need to be experienced, you don’t need much stuff and you don’t even need much time! Here are our top 5 tips for your first car camping trip: 🏞️ Find a spot with a view... there's nothing like waking up to incredible views from the car windows! We do like campsites as they come with some facilities! 🛏 Bring comfy bedding... fold the back seats down and use a mattress topper, duvet and pillows to make the car feel like a luxury hotel! We also use a car backseat extension to fill the gap between the seats, giving extra space to stretch out while keeping lots of storage space! 🔋 Pack essentials... torch, wipes, water, snacks, bin bag, extra blanket, and a power bank! 😴 Blackout the front windows... use cheap window shades or even T-shirts to block out the light and get a bit of privacy! 💻 Download some movies to an iPad or laptop to watch once it's dark and you can't see the views! It’s cheap and flexible, and you can have better views than the best 5-star hotels!
