BRIf you only have one day to spend in Mudgee, here are my recommendations:
1. Althea by Zin - opens at 7am and sells out of popular products fast so be there early to get your coffee and pastries. I recommend the chocolate almond croissant 😋 @altheabyzin
2. Farmers Market - the markets are only on the third Saturday of the month but if you can time your visit right it’s a lovely market full of local produce. Grab a coffee and wander in the sun. @mudgeefarmersmarket
3. The Little Cooking School and Commissary - now located in the Town Hall Arcade, if you can plan your visit to do a cooking class I highly recommend it! I did the cannoli making workshop and it was so fun! If not, you can still call in and grab a coffee and a snack, or purchase some soup or a quiche or something tasty for dinner. @littlecookingschoolmudgee
4. Shopping - browse the quirky stores and homewares shops in the town centre. Featured in this reel are:

5. Moothi Estate - a visit to Mudgee isn’t complete without some winetasting. Book your tasting (and lunch) at Moothi and sit on the deck overlooking grapevines and the hills beyond. The staff are super friendly, and the wine and tasting platters delicious. @moothiestate
6. First Ridge Wines - another cellar door favourite with an amazing view, and some award winning wines to try. @firstridge
7. Dinner plans: Isabella’s Trattoria or Cade Kitchen & Bar - both of these places are highly recommended by locals and get busy so don’t forget to book. @isabellastrattoriamudgee @cade_kitchen_bar (Note: Isabella’s is currently closed until mid-Sept 2023)
This was my second visit to Mudgee and I’m already thinking about my next stay 😊
