Eligible providers can receive up to $75,000 toward student loan repayment in exchange for working at an NHSC-approved site in a Health Professional Shortage Area (typically a 2-year commitment, often with the option to re-sign). This includes: • Physician Assistants (PAs) • Physicians (MD/DO) • Nurse Practitioners (NPs) • Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) • Dentists (DDS/DMD) • Behavioral health providers • Other primary care clinicians Deadline: March 31 Application assistance webinar next week — I’ll post the link in my bio 🤍 Even if you’re in PA school or pre-health, just have this on your radar before signing your first job contract. If you are in the incoming class of 2028 and you’re interested in primary care, here is a scholarship tip: The National Health Service Corp does loan repayment for healthcare professionals on track to go into primary care (i.e. pediatrics, general internal medicine, family medicine, psychiatry, and obstetrics & gynecology). They will pay for your full tuition and give you a monthly stipend for living expenses. National Health Service Corps scholars must provide a two-year minimum service commitment for a minimum 1-year of support. Scholars can receive a maximum of four years of scholarship support. You must commit to serving in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) full time for 4 years or 8 years part-time if you receive 4 years of financial support. This application is also open to other healthcare professionals like nurse midwives, physician assistants, D.O., and DNP.
