SYThe Suobuya Stone Forest, located in Taiyanghe Township, Enshi City, Hubei Province, China, is a remarkable geological formation renowned for its unique karst landscape. Formed approximately 460 million years ago during the Ordovician period, this stone forest spans an area of about 21 square kilometers and is situated at an average altitude of 900 to 1,000 meters. It is considered the world’s first Ordovician stone forest and ranks as China’s second-largest stone forest, following the one in Yunnan.
